I went in for a routine cleaning and was advised that I needed existing fillings in an upper and lower molar replaced. After replacement of the fillings, I began to have pain and sensitivity to cold in the upper molar. Prior to the filling replacement I had no dental pain. I contacted the office and was advised that it may take several weeks for the pain to subside. After four weeks, I went back and was told that I needed a root canal and a crown. Dr. Wostrel referred me to an endodontist. The endodontist drilled out the filling in the molar and found the tooth to be cracked beyond repair. As such, I am now scheduled to have the tooth extracted by an oral surgeon. In addition to the cost associated with the filling replacement, I have also incurred the cost associated with the endodontist and the oral surgeon. Likewise, I have also had to take time off from work to see the endodontist and the oral surgeon. Thanks Dr. Worst-Dentist-Ever!

I am very disappointed in Dr. Wostrel and his staff. During a routine cleaning, it was noted by the hygienist that an existing filling in a bottom molar was soft and needed replacement. During the exam, Dr. Wostrel confirmed the soft filling and stated that a second existing filling in a top molar also possibly warranted replacement. Reluctantly, I agreed to the replacement of both fillings. During the filling replacement process, the dental assistant used another bottom molar, which had a large filling, as a fulcrum point to help keep my tongue out of the way. As a result, the bottom molar used as a fulcrum point has been sensitive and throbs off and on throughout the day. Too add insult to injury, I have continued to have pain with the tooth which may have warranted a filling replacement since the appointment. This tooth has been identifed by both Dr. Wostrel and an endodontist as needing a root canal and a subsequent crown. What is most upsetting is, that prior to the replacement of the fillings, I had no dental pain. Since then, however, I have experienced dental pain on a daily basis. In addition, I was disappointed in that Dr. Wostrel was eager to push me off to an endodontist rather than attempt to fix it.

Everything I've had done--two crowns, regular exams and cleanings--has been great. I went to Dr. Wostrel after many years of not seeing a dentist, and everyone in the office was great. I had sedation for the first set of work, including the first crown. Since then, I've had nitrous oxide for any work. Dr. Wostrel and his staff are terrific. Everyone is friendly and gentle--great for fearful patients. I have recommended Dr. Wostrel's office to many friends, and will continue to do so.

About Front Desk: Everyone's very helpful and friendly. I was very impressed that I was able to get in within two days after my cleaning ]for a temporary crown. Thanks to all!

About Hygienist: Betsi, the Hygienist I see most often, is terrific. She's very gentle and genuinely concerned about her patients. Just two days ago, she found a slight crack in a tooth, and today I was back for a temporary crown. Lauren, who I saw today, was also great--very gentle and concerned with being sure I was comfortable.

I had a cleaning and exam in June of 2013. In July about 3 weeks later the outside of one of my lower molars fell off while I was eating. It was a friday and we were leaving on vacation the next day. I called the dental office and was told that they could not squeeze me in and when I asked what I could do I was told by the staff. "I don't know what to tell you". They showed no care or compassion what so ever. In a panic I called my mothers dentist who fit me in after hours and I had a major cavity filled. She told me that it appeared I was due for a cleaning. My father, who was also a patient, received a bill from Dr Wostrel for $50. He refused to pay it since apparently they had not done their job well. They threatened his credit and Dr Wostrel would not call him back to try to make it right. Dr Wolstrel spends minimal time examining the patient which probably lead to the cavity being missed.

About Front Desk: Nice as long as everything goes perfectly. Let there be a complaint and watch the claws come out. The true definition of rude.

I've had teeth cleaned 2 times per year. I was first informed of the hidden defects of silver amalgam fillings, of which I had numerous ones. I had them all replaced, but needed 4 crowns & 1 root canal, due to decay & cracks under the fillings. This was expensive for me, having been laid-off from my job half-way through the process. They worked with me to pay off over three months. I also had my teeth whitened under a special at that time. I have no anxiety seeing him as he is skilled, efficient, caring, & has state-of-the-art equipment & procedures. I never hesitate to recommend to anyone. Submitted by: Carol A. Linthicum

I felt very relaxed with Dr. Wostrel, and Lauren who assisted him. We had a very nice conversation, and the whole office is friendly, and gives a very positive atmosphere. Chair-side manner was superb. Yes, I would recommend Rocky View Dental to friends and to anyone. Thank you, and see you in October - my next appt. Wendy Johnson.

Very professional, on-time, has up-to-date technology and practices. The Dr. did not suggest expensive things beyond what I needed, but, did suggest things that really should get done. I got a crown to replace a too-large filling. The chair-side manner of the Dr. and staff are excellent, and make you very comfortable and confident in their work. The office is very attractive, comfortable and clean. The office staff are very helpful with insurance and billing. The location is very convenient. I had been driving a long way to my old dentist, reluctant to change to a new one. This dentist makes me glad I decided to switch to his practice.

About Front Desk: Carla (and others at the desk!) are extremely helpful and skilled at billing insurance, etc. Great!!!

I am currently having a crown replaced. I have only had half of the procedure completed, but this was the part that required an x-ray, numbing of the month, drilling, and impressions. As always, Dr. Wostrel and his team make the experience as pain free and pleasant as possible. I did not experience any pain after the procedure and was confident going into the appointment that I would receive excellent care

About Front Desk: Always personable, willing to explain the billing, change your appointment, and work with your schedule and insurance.

About Hygienist: 5 stars to my hygienist who first noticed the problem with the crown though my yearly x-rays. If she had not noticed it, I would be having a root canal instead of a crown replacement.

I have had 1 crown, and another crown 1/2 done so far Dr. Wostrell was especially easy giving the injections because I am very sensitive and was deathly afraid of Dentists. I don't have to have use "laughing gas" at all since coming here. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wostrel to my friends and co-workers.

About Front Desk: Everyone is very nice in this office. Very personable with everything. Carla and Michelle have been especially nice to me.
