All in all the doctor is ok but beware of the tactics he use to get extra money from your pocket. He will recommend unnecessary or over prescribed things to get the maximum from your insurance. Ask every question on the charges and ask all the question regarding the treatment.
Honestly, If you have lots of money, you can go to this doctor else, If you feel that your hard earned money is not to be wasted, I would recommened go and see other doctor. But on the flip side most of the doctors are like him only. They will just try to get the money from you by over prescribing things to get the maximum from the insurance.

As someone who has ignored my teeth far too long and has a great fear of the dentist, I couldn't be more happy. Staff and Dr. were very positive and cheerful. Can't really rate the cost. We have two insurance plans and that covers almost everything. Can't give a 4 for stress and anxiety as I would have to be asleep before during and after to deal completely with that. But would definitely recommend Dr. Wellborn to anyone.
About Hygienist: My hygienist was very caring and gentle. Have to go back for deep cleaning. Not looking forward to that, but am a little less stressed because of the way I was treated today.

The questions here are if it's cost effecctive, like a spa or a 5-star hotel. I'll say this, his office doesn't look like he spends grotesque amounts of MY money decorating. it's nice, but it's not so fancy that I question his profit margin (Like you might see in other offices around town). He's friendly, honest, and does great work with my kids, myself, and my grandma. Truly a wonderful, patient dentist for all ages.

Dr Aaron Wellborn is the best dentist I have ever had and I will never, ever switch! I have tried multiple dentists in Issaquah, Bellevue and Mercer Island and he puts all of them to shame.
I feel like I am going to hang out with a friend each visit and I truly do look forward to the appointment. He tells the funniest stories and I always leave his office in a great mood. Plus, he is very honest with you when it comes to fillings or other procedures, unlike other dentists who jump on an opportunity to make more money and look for excuses to drill into your mouth. A recent example was when he looked at my x-rays and saw one small spot on my tooth that appeared to be the beginnings of a cavity. We talked about it and he said that we could do a filling today, but that it wasn't absolutely necessary since there was a chance that the little spot would not develop into anything to worry about. We decided to leave it for now and check on it during my next visit. I appreciate his honesty - hard to find these days!
Dr. Wellborn and his staff are just amazing and I would recommend that you go to see him, even if you have to drive far to get there. It is, without a doubt, worth it!

Dr. Wellborn is the best dentist I have ever seen. I would recommend him to anyone. I even carry his cards around with me and give them out to strangers who ask about dentists. I talk about my dentists experiences with joy and I am actually excited when my appointment comes up!

Dr. Wellborn is one of the nicest dentists you could ask for. I work for a dental organization and encounter kind and dedicated dentists daily--but Dr. Wellborn is one of the best. You will have NO problem with him or any of the team members that work with him. Its a professional, clean, and friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Wellborn is awesome. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field and makes you feel extremely comfortable in his dental chair. I referred a friend to him who is deathly afraid of dentists and he had such a great experience that he is now referring to Dr. Wellborn! Great Dr. that I would refer anyone to him!

Dr. Wellborn is the absolutely best dentist my family has seen. He is Very personal and makes everyone feel very comfortable. Our youngest son had a horrible dental experience when he was young and we tried a few dentists to ease him back into cleanings. Nobody could stick their finger in his mouth without him crying.
Dr. Wellborn created a comfortable, safe setting with our son within the first visit and was able to give him a check up and schedule a follow up. Unfortunately, our son did need a filling and I was absolutely shocked that our son sat for the entire filling and is ready to go back "any time".
I've also had my own work dental work done by Dr. Wellborn and am very happy with his prices and his work. My family will continue to call him our family dentist and I will continue to refer everyone to his office.

Dr. Wellborn is awesome. He's funny, friendly, a perfectionist with his work and details. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He cares about You and Your Teeth.
He is an artist and scientist in his field. He's honest and caring too. I moved to Renton and I still want him as my dentist. He rocks! They are always courteous and take care of your insurance ;) I love that! The facility is modern and hip.
Give him a try, you will like him alot!
