In my opinion Dr Gary Pagonis does beautiful, natural-looking crown work. He was very meticulous and had a great sense about function and cosmetics/aesthetics including shade, translucency, shape, and the character of healthy natural-looking beautiful teeth for my face, skin-tone, and adjacent teeth. I am very pleased with the quality of his dental work. He was great about explaining procedures to me and answering my questions. He has great numbing techniques and is very gentle in administering them. I can tell that he genuinely cares about my comfort during all parts of my dental procedures. The prices seemed fair and treatment options were clearly explained to me (pros and cons of my different choices), so I felt able to make informed decisions for myself. The billing and insurance and scheduling are all efficiently well-handled by each appropriate staff member.

Great - gentle and compassionate. Been going for over 5 years and was referred to him by other friends. Never had a better dentist.

About Hygienist: Hygienists are great - my new one is talkative in a silly way I have had 3 since I have been visiting Gary's office.

Honest, well trained. Office is up to date and they refer to great oral surgeons if needed.

Dr. Pagonis has been ok, been seeing him for 15 years now. I have Aetna Indemnity Dental Insurance and never have any copays for regular cleanings, checkups and XRAYs. He is pleasant enough and does not push too hard on additional dental work that you don't feel you need. At one point he suggested that I remove my wisdom teeth a while back but did not push it afterward since the teeth were doing ok and were not causing me problems. He's been gentle enough during exams, unlike other dentists I've had. I've never had to have cavities drilled or teeth extracted by him, though. His hygienist is the main reason I still go there. as she is very gentle and attentive about her work (I have gum recession and some sensitive areas). The staff is very accommodating about rescheduling appointments. Minuses: On several occasions over the years he has not been present to check up on me after the cleaning, and I haven't been real keen about that aspect. There should at least someone there as a a backup.

Dr. Pagonis has been my dentist for over 10 years, and I have nothing but the best to say about him. His work is immaculate, I have never had any problems or complications from my dental work, and best of all he never recommends invasive work unless it is absolutely necessary. Some dentists have a "drill first, ask questions later" attitude- going after the insurance billing. But Dr. Pagonis' first thought is toward a patients healthy smile.

The best, gentle dentist you can find. He's been my dentist for 25 years and the patient care has been top notch.
