Dr. Haag has cared for my son since he was a toddler. He took on a partner a few years ago, Dr. Shaul Yehezkel, and has, in fact, himself retired as of the first of this year. Both doctors are wonderful with children, completely natural and approachable. Even a skeptical child is soothed into relaxing. They are very good at explaining what they are doing and why and what is needed. Each visit you receive a written report in addition to the extensive oral comments. There is a lot of emphasis on teaching proper oral hygiene. Dr. Yehezkel is also an orthodontist, so they do especially well at tracking potential problems early. As for costs, they take Delta Dental. We've rarely had problems with that, but the few times we did, the staff cheerfully dealt with the insurer.
The clinic was remodeled a few years ago. Colors are bright and clean, and chairs comfortable, with spaces provided for parents to sit by their child as he or she is being treated. The waiting room even has several computers for patient use, set up with child-friendly software.
