Too be honest i looked up my old orthodontist too see if he has gotten a mal suit yet. Alas he has not so at least i can do is warn others. I was his patient when i was 7 or 8 and now i am 22. I have unprecedented trauma from this place. In one day they had added new brackets, SAWED off some of my gums and removed three teeth. The worst part is I overheard the assistant talking to Dr C about the plan for the day and i start to cry because any of that would be scary for a 7 or 8 year old. I got yelled at by Dr. C too shut up. They tried multiple experimental ‘gadgets’ that did not work. The best part is we ended moving and i swithed to a new orthodontist and was flabbergasted that going to the dentist does not hurt and people are actually nice and gentle when working on you.

His staff is intimidating, curt and generally you feel as though you are bothering them. Other ortho's said that some of his practices and treatment are very outdated. My children felt that the doctor was rough with them and disliked his manner. Parents were not allowed in during the exam and I had no contact with the doctor over 3 years. Save your money!

About Front Desk: Amy was lovely. The rest were unpleasant.

It seems to me that this dentist should not be working with children. I heard him scolding my 6 year old (who was at his office for the first filling of his life). I was not allowed to go into the room with my son, but instead sat in the waiting room right outside where he was. I turned off the tv as I could hear that my son was very hysterical. As nobody from the office came to tell me he was fine and just scared, I opened the door to make sure he was ok and saw that Dr. Carapezza had absolutely no bedside manner as he was yelling "Stop it!" at my son. He actually attacked me personally (and my parenting skills) after the procedure was over. I would imagine he is burned out or too busy to deal with young children who are having difficulty. I terminated the relationship with the office that very day and would not recommend Dr. Carapezza to anyone. He may have many years of experience, but that doesn't mean anything when a PEDIATRIC dentist is impatient, rude and rough and cannot deal with children. I feel fortunate that this happened now before I was about to bring my 2.5 year old daughter also.

About Front Desk: Front desk and and staff were always very pleasant to me.

No major issues with Dentist. Both children like him well enough and gives them confidence they are doing well.

My daughter is scared of him. He is harsh in his manner when he deals with kids. Hemp daughter starts to cry and get anxious as we leave the door to go. He is even rude to the parents. Looking for another denstist, but having trouble since she got braces through his office at age 7 and has had a miserable experience since.

Dr. C is very rough with his patients. I always leave bleeding, whether it be a quick check, a cleaning, or something else.

Not happy with him, unprofessional, poor management. The main problem is Dr. C, while everyone else is very nice, and the facilities are very nice, he is grumpy, harsh, and values his practice over his patients. After I received braces, and had them removed after nearly five years and consistently worn a retainer, as told, my teeth began to move back to their original crooked form. While this does happen, and probably was not his or my fault, he placed the blame, on me, making completely unwarranted claims that "my attitude" and lack of wearing the retainer were the cause. In another situation, I asked to not have any heavy work done on my teeth for this appointment, as I had an event that was coming up, and did not want any discomfort, and was a perfectly reasonable excuse. After initially acknowledging my request, he then proceeded to put a very painful wire on my top teeth, which he did against my request purely as a demonstration for dentists i believe he was teaching. I am not saying that the entire office is horrible, really everyone else there is very nice and do a great job, and obviously no one likes their dentist, there are better places to go until he retires.

Very expensive, sometimes kids got hurt badly during procedures, but they were very defensive and denying anything accidental.
