Dr. Strauss transformed an extreme anxiety provoking procedure into as comfortable as a tooth extraction procedure can be. He was on time, efficient, answered all pre-op questions and concerns and gave a thorough post-op explanation of what he'd done and my "job" to make recovery as smooth as possible. I was very pleasantly surprised with the reasonable fee for services provided. I highly recommend at least getting a consult with and allow Dr. Strauss to perform your periodontal procedure.

I noticed his advertisement posted in his website for a free consult. Although the free consult contained a notation. I phoned the number in the site. I t was odd that the Dentist answered the phone. Dr. Strauss was very abrupt. Dr. Strauss wouldn't answer any of my questions straight. The advertisement is a gimmick to obtain money for doing nothing. Dr. Strauss wouldn't answer the fees at the very least. I assume it's a gimmick to corral me to come by and charge me for nothing. After one minute, talking to this quack, I would run the other way.

Dr. Strauss is thorough, knowlegeable, and a terrific listener. He never forgets there's a person in the chair. I've had 2 extractions, one by him and one by another dentist. There was no comparison. The extraction Dr. Strauss did was as stress-free as possible. He has a calming manner and gentle touch that made the whole thing as easy as possible. He's also done scaling for me - again as easy as possible. He's quite willing to work with the patient to find the best options.

About Front Desk: Always courteous, always caring, always remembers who I am, details about me. She understands the ins and outs of insurance and makes sure my financial needs come firts.

About Hygienist: Patricia is amazing. I prefer having my teeth cleaned by her to having a facial in a spa. My mouth feels amazing afterwards. She's so thorough and caring.

This dentist was recommended by my regular dentist for an implant. I needed a tooth extraction prior to the implant. The extraction was done about two weeks ago. It took around an hour, the procedure was somewhat painful and apparently complicated. No recommendation was made to me post procedure. No appoinment was set-up for follow-up expect for pre-implant procedure in 3 months. About 3 days later appart from the soarness of the surgical site, an inflamation appeared, pain followed. The clot was lost on day 6. I called the dentist who couldn't see me that day (he finishes practice at 5pm) and got precribed an antibiotic over the phone. I saw my regular dentist that evening because I was in significant pain. The diagnostic was a "dry sockett" that needed some treatment on top of the antibiotic. This is a common complication of tooth extraction that needs more than over the phone prescription. It is preventable with the right procedure (during extraction and after extraction). I am disapointed that the Dentist didn't provide more information upfront to prevent the dry sockett from happening and caring for it after it happened as a medical follow-up.

Dr. Strauss did an incredible job. I have a very complicated, hard to diagnose dental condition due to a side effect from a medication I was taking. Dr. Strauss saw me multiple times, took his time to explain exactly what he was doing and what the possibilities were. He made a possibly very painful situation not so painful. He was very caring and understanding. His staff is very pleasant and helpful. His new office in a refurbished train station is absolutely gorgeous too. It is such a lovely and unusual office, it is a pleasure to go there, even for dental work!

About Hygienist: Pat spent about 45 minutes cleaning my teeth. She was very nice, gentle and thorough. My teeth felt so good when she was done!

Dr. Strauss always takes the time to come in and examine me after my cleaning with the hygienist. He takes time to sit and answer any questions I might have. He is very knowledgable. The office staff is courteous and responsive. I have never had a billing or insurance issue. I have recommended Dr. Strauss and staff to my friends and family.

About Hygienist: Pat the hygienist is very thorough, genlte, and friendly. I know I will always get a good cleaning from her.

Very poor bedside manner. Very rough. Did not accurately explain what to expect. Was a very stressful experience. When putting in stitiches, stuck needle through my tounge, which was not under novicane.
