Dr Mandell is refreshingly honest and to the point. He is a wonderful dentist and I will never change. I am planning on getting an implant and will definitely go to no one but him. My treatment is very successful to date and I needed alot of work. This is the very best periodontist and believe me I have used my insurance (yearly) two years in a row seeking the best- I found the best in Dr Mandell. I would definitely recommend this periodontist to others. If you want great results this is where you should be.

Great periodontist, helpful staff. Dr. Mandell explains treatment very throughly. Surgery was easier than I expected and I saved my teeth. I also had implants with Dr. Mandell and it was a breeze. Dr. Mandell said I was the co-therapist and that my outcome would depend on me doing my homecare. He was right.

Dr. Mandell takes care of people who have periodontal disease. He's nice and his hygienists do their best to take care of my teeth. I've always been sensitive to cleaning so I routinely ask for local (swab) anesthetic to my gums. I know I should floss more attentively, so maybe the work the hygienist has to do would be easier on me if I did, but they forgive me my shortcomings. I had surgery by Dr. Mandell years ago and it went well. He's more tolerant of me than my regular dentist is !! I've been going back for years because I'm satisfied. I'm also satisfied that I don't have to pay rent and decorating charges for a swanky building. The office itself is fine and satisfies my needs. They always accomodate my appointment needs, too.

Dr. Mandell is very pleasant and very attentive. He went over the procedures and treatments very thoroughly.
The facilities are although adequate they are a little antiquated.
The hygienist on the other hand was very aggressive in cleaning and didn't really care whether you were comfortable or hurting. Most times throughout the cleaning procedure I was hurting because of her aggressive scaling and flossing techniques. Go to another place for cleaning.
