Dr. Robert Kerstein ground all of my molars and premolars aggressively (=his evil DTR procedure) to cure my right TMJ problems. DTR made a lot of harm to me: it triggered also my left TMJ (so now I have both sides problems) and also my cervical spine! as my facial and neck muscles "dropped down" immediately after his DTR and started to press my cervical discs. Since then I have bigger pain than before, I need to wear another splint to be able to sleep on sides painless (so DTR did not substitute the splint as advertised) and mainly I suffer from tingling into my forearms and fingers every day. My loosened facial muscles made my face look older like an old bulldog. I will have to pay extra big money for teeth restoration now elsewhere. So I do NOT recommend DTR for TMJ, the grinding will destroy your healthy teeth for ever!!!
Dr. Kerstein should have never done DTR on me because my TM joints were never stable and adaptable as he had assumed mistakenly and did not care about. The payment for 2 hours visit is 2000 USD, next two appointments cost 2.500 USD.
About Front Desk: The Staff, especially Jannita, was very arrogant, did not know pricing, details of procedure DTR, completely useless staff. They always let know patients how bothering they are should they have some questions. The staff gave me finally prices for bonding in advance saying that they do not know how much bondings I will need. But I remained in shock when instead bonding Dr. Kerstein aggressively ground down all my teeth and made my TMJ much worse.

Dr. Kerstein has made several crowns for me, fixed numerous cavities,and performed very complex procedures on several teeth. He has always been sensitive to my pain and anxiety, reassuring me every step of the way. He is concerned about me as a human being, not just a patient. He remembers key aspects of my life and asks me each time how my life is progressing...and he really means it and is interested. His office takes care of my insurance claims in a prompt and effective manner. His hygienist is very nice, always extremely polite, and helpful. When i have to change an appt. on short notice due to my busy life, his staff is always very accommodating, without criticism. I would refer anyone to Dr. Kerstein. He's a real gem.

Dr. Kerstein does Excellent dental work. I've had a bridge, caps and fillings, and they look beautiful and have held up well for years. He is a very calming person, so if you are the nervous-type like me don't hesitate in making an appointment with him. VERY nice person! He completely helped me regarding pain after a terrible auto accident that hurt my jaw badly. He knows what he's talking about and has great equipment for bite changes.
I wish this survey was a 5 star or 10 star; he totally deserves it!!! (but 4 is TOPS! and that he is)

Wonderful experience. I went in complaining about migraines/ jaw discomfort, and walked away 1 hour later with the problem almost 100% corrected. I would highly recommend this doctor if you are looking for someone who is efficient and incredibly knowledgable.
