I’ve been a patient at Cooley Bentz Dental for many years and can highly recommend them. The entire staff is friendly, professional and competent. You are in good hands and will receive wonderful care!

I have been going to this practice for 20 years (minus a few years while I lived out of state). I’m currently driving an hour each way for my appointments because I trust them so much. Aside from normal work, I recently needed a tooth extraction. For the first time, I remained conscious for the procedure - which was handled differently than every other tooth I’ve had removed (many through orthodontia work plus wisdom teeth) and the recovery was SO MUCH BETTER. Absolutely amazing. I *hate* going to the dentist and I am absolutely phobic about it. Everyone in this practice is nice and kind and helps me through every appointment. And it is painless. I can’t recommend them strongly enough. I won’t trust my mouth to anyone else!

About Hygienist: I’ve recently had two new hygienists for cleaning/scaling work. I can’t recommend them more strongly. I was terrified of getting the scaling work done and it was painless with no recovery time. Shockingly good.

My dental treatment up to this point has been for a stage 1 periodontal disease. It is painful for my gums and Dr Sara Cooley - Bentz explained how and why this happened in detail. Her insight regarding how and why dental issues persist at my stage led me to understand that dental health is important to all aspects of health. After the initial dental assessment, Dr Sara introduced me to a dental hygienist whom emphasized the dentist's treatment plan. Everyone is on the same page. In addition, her skills as a dental hygienist were exceptional; gentle, intentional about explaining each step and ease of offering many pathways to advances in dental health. They each share that dental technology is effective and affordable!

If you are planning dental work with Dr. Bentz be aware to discuss future treatment only during initial consultation. He was pressing me for one hour to take 3D X-ray for $400 which was not necessary plus to take full mouth X-ray. He likes quick cash by pushing button on X-ray. It would be best to have another consultation with another dentist too. In my opinion consultation must be to evaluate future treatment not to bill patient pressing to take X-ray with all machines that exist in his office.

Insists on doing expensive and unnecessary work. Pulled my daughter's tooth "because it was about to fall out" and charged me $90.00 for it.
