My experiences with Dr. Linda Ridder have left me feeling that she is unscrupulous and incompetent. When I moved to Cupertino, California, I needed dental attention for my sensitive teeth. Looking up the list provided by the insurers, I visited 'DR' Linda Ridder, of Hills Dental on De Anza Blvd. in June of 2006. Within just 5 months, she exhausted my whole year's insurance and also using nearly half of my next year's insurance , in the previous year itself, and including my co-pay, the amount totaled to around $3000. After all this, my teeth are much more sensitive than ever. She also widened the gap between the premolars and molars, God knows why. Since then ALL the food I eat hits the gums hard when I chew, gets stuck there and gives me painful swollen gums, compelling me to have food only with my floss around, so I cannot eat out or with company, and eating has become very painful. Terrified of going to another dentist, even to get it corrected.

Dr Linda Ridder is an extreamly careind dentist. She is very enthusiastic about her work. I like the fact that she is open six days a week. I also appreciate the fact that she has an on site orthodontist and a periodontist. She offers free lifetime whitening if you keep your six month cleaning appointments, which are necessary to maintain good oral health. I reccomend that you give her a call if you are looking for a dentist or are unhappy with your curent dentist. You will not be disapointed.

Dr. Ridder is a nice enough dentist but she made me a night protector that did not fit properly and yet she charged me several hudreds of dollars for it. She also overcharged me for removing my daughter's baby teeth that were dangling and only required about 2 minutes of her time (I was charged around $150 for this even though she never quoted me a price ahead of time but sent me a bill). She also told me my insurance would cover dental work and after I had the work done told me that my insurance would not cover it and she expected payment. She was also always pushing products for sale in her office (like sonicare).

Dr. Ridder is fabulous. She is very friendly and caring. She takes very good care of me and has taught me how to care for my teeth and gums. She even gives gifts to her patients! I highly recomend her to anyone that wants a highend dentist.
