Dr. Marianne Spamer has been our family dentist for 30 years, and has seen 3 generations of my family. She was my first dentist when she practiced in Piedmont/Oakland , California. Even though we now live in San Leandro, we still go to her office. She has done 10 crowns on me and 2 bridges, and I am a very fearful person when it comes to medical or dental work. She uses nitrous oxide on me and a relaxant, an Ipod, and I almost sleep through appointments. My husband comes to the office, too, and my daughter who now lives in Stockton, and her husband and their 2 kids. When you find a good dentist, you follow her everywhere. I made her promise never to retire and leave us without a great dentist. She has done 3 root canals to save my teeth, and a bleaching/grinding mouth piece. If it weren't for her, I would not have a tooth in my head!

Dr. Spamer has filled numerous cavities of mine over the years and she does so without causing any pain to me. I have also received a front root canal and that was no trouble at all.
I receive a discount for paying in cash, which is nice too.
Dr. Spamer is knowledgeable and friendly. I can trust that she will be there to help.

Dr. Marianne Spamer saw me at 6 pm on a Monday evening, for an emergency visit. It was just before my wedding, and I did not have dental insurance. My fiance did, and he has gone to her for 14 years, since he was a child., and used to go to her brother in Hayward, who is a children's dentist. She saw me in the office, after hours, gave me a low payment plan, and did an emergency start of a root canal on a really bad tooth. She gave me antibiotics, and said it was good I came in or I would have been all swollen for the wedding and the honeymoon. I have to work hours to keep my job, and pay for the wedding. Dr. Spamer finished the root canal, another evening after 6 pm, so I would not lose my job. She waited til I was married and had my husband's union insurance to cover a cap on the tooth. She did all the ninsurance forms for us, and I paid off the bills after the 6 months, she let me pay for. I had veneers done later, after being married on the 2 side front teeth, that were smaller teeth (pegs). Dr. Spamer b;eached my teeth for $55 for the Bleacing kit, and we matched the veneers to the new color of my teeth. I would highly recommend her and her nice office staff. Our whole family goes there now.
