I have been with Dr. Nichols for 6 years or more.I like the fact that he explains everything so you have a clear view of what his is doing and what to expect. He recently did my veneers on both my top and bottom and he did a fantastic job! He had also done several crowns for me as well and all procedures were pain free. His charges are in line with other providers in my area. You must however pay at time of service, you can not be billed. I have never had any problems with my insurance being billed for something that wasn't done or over billed. His office does not nag you about what you have not being doing enough of, such as brushing, flossing, etc. They do however try to educate on on the importance of flossing and proper care of your teeth and gums.

I know this doctor: 6 years

The facilities in Bethesda are horrible. The customer service horrible. The job he did was not very good. The color doesn't match. It is starting to hurt and it cost A LOT. His assistant talked during the whole treatment. She was complaining about Daddy not giving her enough money. Just a BAD Dentist!

Dr. Nichols and his wife (she runs the office) are fantastic. He will always go out of his way to cause the least amount of discomfort during any procedure. He will always tell you what he is going to do next (i.e. - you are going to feel a little pressure, cool air, etc) so that you are not caught of guard. I would reccomend them highly!!!!!

The worst dentist office I have ever visited. The front desk is very unfriendly and it is difficult to get an appointment. In addition they were not knowlegeable about insurance coverage which caused me a great deal of stress. Inside, everything looked dingy and and old. The spitting sink always had visible mold growing in it. The assistant was nice and friendly (although technically not very astute) but the best thing about my experience. Dr. Nichols however was very hurried and constantly ran back and forth between multiple patients instead of taking his time with my root canal. He did not ensure that my bite was correct after the filling another tooth chipped off as a result. I would not recommend Dr. Nichols to anyone and strongly suggest that his office be reviewed.
