Dr. Gate is one of the most pleasant, thorough dentists I have ever had. He works alone in a small office, but his attention is on you and that allows for great attention to detail. His works is superb and I would recommend him to any of my friends. If I was to complain at all, it would be only that his equiptment is a little on the older side. But that's it... he's wonderful!

I wish I had known Dr. Gate (note it is GATE, not GATES) years ago. He is the BEST Dentist I have ever experienced.
He has now done 2 root canals, and my pain after has been LESS than my previous dentist just doing a filling.
His shots have not hurt me either.
Very efficient. Very patient.
Waits for root canals to heal completely, before doing the permanent filling and crown.
The office is clean and pleasant. No fancy frills, but they are not needed either.
Parking is right out front and plenty of spaces. No stairs, handicapped persons have easy access.
I live in San Francisco, and it is a nice drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to his office. Or I could drive to his Sunnyvale office.
I have no complaints, no disappointments. It is my 5th visit, as I had extensive work, even though I have seen my old dentist regularly and for years.
Dr. Gate is the BEST dentist you can choose, and he does everything from filings, to root canals, crowns, cleaning, and even extractions.
He accepts many insurance companies and dental plans.
