Dr. Philipovitch took over the practice of Dr. Feldbrill. He was there for only a short time (about 2 years?). In that time, I found that every time I came in for a routine cleaning and x-ray, he would tell me that I needed to replace a filling. My wife had the same experience. I had 3 filling replaced, which was not cheap. This was in 2005. Now in 2008, I find that 2 of the 3 fillings he replaced are showing signs of corrosion underneath them. I have to have those replaced, again. I take care of my teeth, and am not adverse to spending money to keep them healthy, but I feel taken advantage of in this case. I wonder if anyone else had a similar experience of multiple fillings being replaced? Also, after he left, staff turnover was high and the new office seems to be in disarray.

I know this doctor: 2 years

Dr. Philipovitch is now located in San Francisco on Union Street. He runs a good practice and has knowledgable assistants. I have been going to him for over 2 years and have been happy with all treatment.

I had veneers when I went to the dentist. He replaced one of the veneers with a crown. I was not pleased with the result. When I complained he told me he was repalcing the crown with a veneer. In fact he replaced the veneer with a second crown, and told me it was a veneer. When I went to another dentist,. that dentist told me that what I had was a porcelin crown, not a veneer as Dr. Phillipovitch had claimed.
