Last year I had my top, non-impacted, wisdom teeth removed. The procedure went without any complications, and I did not have any pain or swelling afterwards. Friends warned me that it would be painful for days, and I would need the prescribed Vicodin. However, I was only unable to eat because of the holes and unable to drive directly after the procedure because of the nitrous-oxide. I went in without insurance and paid around $600 for the entire procedure, this includes x-rays and pain killers etc. Dr. Petrush was extremely nice, as was his staff, he was also very patient with me. Even tho I only had the one visit, I still recommend him to everyone.

Both Dr. Petrush & Dr. Elek are among the top 3 dentists I've ever known, and that's been many! The staff is friendly & kind; very patient when I've been nervous. They take the time to chat like "normal" people, not like busy uncaring, "get 'em in, get 'em out" types. I never have to wait long in the waiting room for my turn. Equipment & tools seem to be the best, which includes nitrous, which & must have. I've had a couple of emergencies over the years & I was always helped as soon as possible. As for pain, Dr. P is super-considerate of the patient. He numbs the area before injecting & will add more anesthesia at the slightest wince from the patient. He doesn't try to rush through, saying, "Just breathe deeply, we're almost done" He makes sure that you are comfortable the entire time. Any stress or anxiety I've had has been my own & not a result of any treatment I've had there. When a referral was necessary to handle some difficult crowns, even the specialist was good. I'm now planning to have my 2 front crowns replaced & I have no doubt they'll be terriffic.

Dr. Petrush has a pleasant staff. The billing person went over my bill with me. I think the billing for procedures was a bit higher than expected. The lobby and operatories are clean and well lit. He even lets you watch TV during treatment. The hygienists were pretty thorough and very briefly reviewed medical history.

Dr. Petrush is very friendly & likable. He discusses treatment options & takes the time to explain procedures. I've recommended him to friends & they've had the same experience. Even my highly dentist-phobic friend has become a loyal patient of his. I wouldn't be able to get dental work done without nitrous & he encourages patients to use it if they need to. If I flinch even the slightest bit while he's working, he doesn't hesitate to offer more novocaine. I've had procedures take longer than expected because of this, but he doesn't mind the extra time. He truly has his patient's best interests at heart!
