I sent both of my children along with myself to Dr. Armstrong after moving to the area and was very disappointed in this office. From the very beginning, he was very aggressive with treatment. He flagged a number of my teeth as "keeping a watch on them" and basically suggested that I have all of my metal fillings removed and replaced with white composite ones. What he didn't mention is that this is extremely expensive and actually does damage to the tooth because you have to not only take out the filling but some of the tooth goes too which many times results in yet another procedure - a root canal. In addition, while having this done to my one and only tooth that I let him do, he kept me waiting in a dental chair with an exposed tooth for an hour because some type of emergency had come up. I obviously had no other option but to wait and they then "apologized" to me by offering me a coffee cup with their company name on it! They also said that a previous crown I had done back east did not have a proper seal and would need to be redone but since it had just been a year, it would not be covered by insurance. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and he did not see anything out of the ordinary.
