About Front Desk: great smile

Every procedure I had done by Dr. Stevens had to be re-done by another dentist within 1 year. The crowns she did caused pain until they were finally replaced. I know several others who saw this dentist and everyone else had the same story--very poor care.
About Front Desk: The front desk staff person was different every time I came into the office. I later learned that the dentist fired everyone and the front desk was a rotating door for people with whom she could not work.
About Hygienist: Hygenist was fine.

I really think she is a wonderful dentist. Lots of experience. She is very good in cosmetic dentistry and very gentile with patients. Great office experience. They really do care about their patients!

Donna Stevens performed what is called an onlay...basically they drill out a section of a tooth and create a porcelain filling that fits exactly in its place. This is a two visit procedure. Upon my second visit the filling did not fit. We discovered this after numbing me. I had to come back for a third visit...and a third numbing.
When I received the bill, I was shocked. $761.81, after my insurance paid.
If you visit this doctor, I would recomend getting a written estimate prior to any procedure. I cannot afford this and would have opted out of the procedure had I have been informed.
MY OVERALL SUMMARY...A CAPABLE DENTIST WITH, WITH AN INCAPABLE BILLING DEPARTMENT.
