I made the mistake thinking that if he costs more he is probably is good at what he is doing. Instead of working on the tooth that I came in for, he worked on the one next to it. I questioned his judgement and he said both needed work on, however, he said by exposing this easier tooth he can then take better x-ray of the more difficult tooth. So I am scheduled to come in for another procedure. Apparently I am a trial an error case. The last procedure I was in, for eight days I was in so much pain that I felt the pain would be much less if I ripped the tooth out myself. I informed him of this and he said that my option now is to go see a surgeon Long story short, he couldn't fix the problem, however, damaged two crowns that I will have to pay out of pocket, he charged my insurance $3500 and I paid the difference of $114. It was the worst experience ever. He was late to our appointments, the receptionist was more interested in him getting paid and will say anything to get you to stay with him. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they just wanted to sent me somewhere else. Any good lawyer out there?

My dentist of 17+ yrs, Dr Marshall referred my step-daughter to Drs Oller & Mussone for root canal.
My step-daughter is French & spoke no English. She is 11 yrs old & needed a root canal. Her first dental visit was a week prior to the root canal.
Dr Mussone & staff did everything above & beyond to make her feel comfy including a French speaking assistant. You could imagine how scared she was not understanding everything & having a root canal. The procedure took longer than expected but this is mainly to keep her calm & content.
Finally, she did not need a root canal, as Dr Mussone got to her tooth & found that it was very much alive.
She was slightly shocked but because of the enormous amount of TLC the dentist & his entire staff had shown, she walked out with a completed procedure & a big smile on her face.
I cannot thank Dr Mussone & staff enough!

I found Dr. Mussone be an expert who corrected another dentist's mistake. He was professional, personable, sympathetic, and efficient. Thumbs up all the way!

I have visited Dr. Mussone twice in the last 4 years and have been very happy with my treatment and success. His technique is realitivly pain free, but you need to like classical music. His office staff makes it a pleasure to be there. They are very kind, friendly and helpfull. I would not hesitate referring my friends to him.

Dr Mussone's office staff and customer service is absolutely terrible. I would never never do business with him or his office staff again. Do yourself a favor. Never go to him!!!!
My husband and I have dual coverage, yet they made him pay 381 up front. Then our insurance, mine and his sent a check directly to them.
My husband called 5 times (long-distance call) in about 3 weeks and was given nothing but excuses and was told they would call him back and they never did. They caused us to get so angry because all we heard were excuses and we will call you back, etc.etc. and they never responded. RUDE!
We were trying to get our money back. They held our money for 6 weeks and would not respond to us.
Finally I called them so upset and angry. They told me they will put the check in the mail We will see.
If you ever go to him, GOOD LUCK is all I can say.

His staff should be fired from the front desk on backwards. They all gave us excuses and would not respond no matter how many times we called.

Over three visits during a 2-month period, I was put into a total wait of over 2 hours. On the last visit, I was on the chair for 10 mins, talked to Dr. Mussone for 1 minute, but waited for 50 minutes before that.

I'm satisfy with what he has done for my tooth. I would tell my friends about him.
