I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Dr. Horwitz for over 6 years now. I used to be very uncomfortable in the dentist office until I was referred to Dr. Horwitz. He's chair side manner is amazing, he is very friendly, very easy to talk to, takes his time, and you can tell he loves what he's doing. I've always had a great experience in his office from the front desk to the great hygienists and most importantly the Doctor himself. If you are looking for quality work and amazing attention to detail with people that are enjoyable to be around -- this is the dentist for you! Thank you Dr. Horwitz I would recommend you to anyone in need of dental care.

I have been a patient in this office for many, many years. I have never had a negative experience and feel totally confident when I go into the office......whether it be for a routine cleaning or some other matter with my teeth. I have complete confidence that I will always have a positive experience ....and be treated with respect. Everyone in the office is pleasant and I have recommended Dr. Horwitz many times to others.
About Hygienist: Again, everyone I have seen in Dr. Horwitz's office have been stellar!

Dr. Michael Horwitz is truly the best dentist I have ever been to. What makes him so wonderful is not only his vast knowledge in dentistry, but also his careful and guided conservative approach to protecting his patients' teeth. He has a gentle hand and caring approach that sets him apart from the others. I feel very comfortable with him and I would recommend him to everyone.

I do not have problem teeth--never had a cavity, and I am nearly 40, so I have mostly just been for cleanings. Dr. Horwitz, his partner Dr. Prewitt (not sure if I am spelling that right), the hygenists and staff could not be nicer. And one small problem I did have--which was plaque build-up--they did help me solve by recommending dry brushing. Now it took a couple of years, getting a lot of lectures from them, and a lot of trial and error with electric toothbrushes, etc. before a substitute hygenist made this recommendation that did the trick....It is the only dentist's office I ever went to that plays videos and TV during the cleaning, which made me laugh at first coming as a tough gal from NYC, but I have come to like the tropical fish, CNN and what not that they show.

General cleaning and examinations are conducted in a sterile, clean, professional environment. Payment expected at time of service, no compromises. No participation in insurance plans. Hygienists are always kind and helpful. Conservative approach. Very trustworthy to give the best opinion. Contrary to other dentists, has never suggested gold fillings where none were needed. The service quality makes it worth it.

The staff is excellent, he is friendly and an expert cosmetic dentist. I had my teeth whitened and highly recommend him. Another dentist was there at the time "observing the master". Others had tried unsuccessfully to fix a problem tooth and he did it. Also for regular cleaning the hygienist was terrific. They give a lot of goodies, toothbrushes and rubber tips etc. as well. Very professional.

Everyone there is very courteous, friendly, and professional. No one talks down to you and everyone explains what they are doing. I almost look forward to going to their office!

Like most people, I have always had a dread going to the dentist. Not so with Dr. Horwitz. He's extremely talented, friendly, and an artist who gave me back my smile (front teeth crowns that look completely like they belong to the face). He has a wonderful, supportive staff who knows and cares about the patients. As for pain: well, I fell asleep once during a root canal! He was recommended by a colleague at UCLA, an old, dear friend who has never steered me wrong. But Dr. Horwitz's telephone number was the best advice he ever gave me during our 35 years of friendship.
I notice reviewing the "preview" that in cost I checked "expensive." But compared to what? "Expensive" would be paying $10 for a McDonald hamburger. But if Josiah Citrin prepared it at Melisse a few blocks away from Dr. Horwitz's office, it would be a steal. So let me finish by saying: Michael Horwitz is the Josiah Citrin of denistry.
