Dr. Factor is an excellent dentist. I had two root canals done by him, and I felt no pain. His prices are fair and he has a very professional work ethic. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an endonotist

He was loud, rude and used foul language. Talked about his personal life for all to hear.

In March I had about the worst experience I've ever had with a dentist. Dr. Factor was yelling at his assistant, and didn't even review my xray's before he got started. Unbelievable. I will never go back to have him do work again.

Dr. Factor is quite a charachter, a master of the tricky root canal with a touch of Han Solo thrown in. I have had 2 different kinds of of tricky root canals from Dr. Factor, a rear molar with a double root, and a re-treat of an old root canal that didn't go far enough and had an abcess. Dr. Factor handled both with the total attention and skill that you want someone to have who is manipulating sharp objects inside your mouth. Do not be thrown off by his slighty tousled hair and somewhat wild look in his eye (just kidding), he's a no-nonsense guy who will tell it like it is. He totally took care of me, gave good instructions for post-care, and gave me his cell number in case I had any problems in the middle of the night. Seriously, I had the feeling the whole time that I was under the care of an expert. Steady hands and effecient manor; he doesn't hurry too much but he wont have you in the chair all day either. I must make clear that I saw Dr. Factor at 19th ave Dental Excellence, the office of Dr. Matt Kiisk, who is my dentist through Deltacare CA. Dr Factor comes there every other thursday, so my "3" facilities rating is based on 19th ave, as opposed to his main office on Noriega. I also would reccomend deltadentalca.org.

I was referred to this endodontist for a consultation for a possible root canal. The doctor seemed competant, but the facility gave me pause. It was a tiny store front in the "Asian Ghetto." The actual exam area was one large room with very little privacy. It was not very high tech, no microscopes for endodontic work. I had issues with passing by other patients (in plain sight) as I entered and exited. I could almost touch their heads! Not the kind of place I want delicate, high risk dental work done! Again, the doctor was nice, practical, and seemed competant. I did not schedule a follow up for possible root canal.

Dr. Factor made me feel very relaxed, and that really helped because I get pretty stressed at the dentist. He performed a root canal with such confidence and skill that I never felt a thing before, during or after the procedure. The surgery was about 7 months ago and my only concern is that I may need to have another one soon as it's starting to hurt again. I do not blame Dr. Factor for the pain, but I do blame the office for not following up with me and sending a reminder that it's time for my 6-month check-up. The facilities and staff are just okay.

Dr. Factor's work is impeccable and enduring. His professional, careful procedure saved my #29 more than 25 years ago. Recently, I had a crown replaced over the tooth that he had saved and the dentist commented on what a great job he had done. J. Harris

Dr. Factor's office is cramped and offers no privacy. He did a root canal on me and missed one of the roots. I tried contacting him but my messages were unreturned or his mailbox was always full and not taking messages. I am extremely underwhelmed by his office.

Facilities were very poor. Chair and surrounding equipment did not appear clean and motivated me not to get treatment done.
