I feel bad to say this because I actually liked Dr. Sheikh in my first visit. She seemed friendly and soft spoken. Trust me, I really wanted to like her. Unfortunately, the care was not up to standard. She started doing fillings before checking a full mouth x-ray (which she charged me for anyway), and did 2 fillings over a decaying tooth that now I have to re-do. Also, one of the fillings is falling out and causing me unbelievable pain and constant headache. I can't believe she graduated from Harvard. I should have taken a hint when she got defensive after I was asking her questions about some of the treatments she suggested. After I wanted to discuss alternative treatments that my sister (who is a dentist in another country) suggested, Dr. Sheikh's immediate reply was:" why don't you go to your sister to treat you." I thought that was very inappropriate. Trust me and find another dentist because you eventually will need to do so anyway.

Dr. Sheikh is a sweetheart. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner with this office. She does her best to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of properly.

Dr. Sheikh is the nicest + most knowledgable dentist I've ever had. Not only is she very compassionate all around ... she also really knows her stuff. I tend to ask a lot of questions of dentists: do i really need braces as a 28yo? is white or silver fillings better? and she literally stops what she's doing to really explain + answer the question + what she would specifically recommend for your situation (such as that if I can get away with it to avoid white fillings since studies are starting to show that they may increase odds of root canals). In any case, very personable + puts you at ease. And the temporary crown she fit me with was spot on... usually they have to spend multiple tries shaving it down. She got it on the first try... I adore her. Best dentist I've ever had.

Dr. Sheikh is great. The best way to describe her job is saying that I felt like she was working in her own mouth: not only because of the care and perfectionism that she puts on her job, but also because she tries to keep, as much as possible, the original part of your denture. I am really satisfied with her job.
