I have never enjoyed going to the dentis, but it is more of a necessary evil. Since I didn't like the dentist I had seen in the past I would go years without even a cleaning (yes I said years). As a result, I have gotten myself into a situation where more serious dental services are required. Since Dr. Bloom has become my dentist, I am back to good dental practices. He has taken care of my fillings and crowns and even called me at home to follow up on larger procedures. He also takes the time during the procedure to explain what he is doing and why. You can tell he is passionate about his practice! He was referred by a friend who used to be his hygienist and I figured she was bias with her glowing comments. This was not the case at all. I have moved my husband and teenage daughters to his practice and love the connection you get with a small-town dentist. My biggest dentist fear now...he might someday want to retire!!!

About Hygienist: I really like Debbie, the hygienist who assists Dr. Bloom, but don't enjoy seeing the one who does cleanings regularly (she's made such an impact I don't know her name). I find her to be extremely rough and often leave my cleaning in more pain than having a filling. Conversation is difficult with her too. I still go to this office for my cleanings becuase of the respect I have for Dr. Bloom, but I don't enjoy it.

Dr. Bloom has been my dentist for 30 years - since I was 8 years old. Now that I'm an adult and moved away, I actually travel almost an hour to get to his office. I recently had a few cavities filled and it just reminded me why I continue to go there. He is a true perfectionist and his dentistry skill is top-notch. Hopefully, I won't ever need anything more than cavities being filled, but if I do I know I can count on Dr. Bloom.

About Hygienist: The new hygienist that was there the last time I was there was fantastic. I felt like I had a new pair of teeth after they were cleaned. I'm also glad that she checked my mouth for any cancer-type lesions and such as I've never gotten checked for that before (at least to my knowledge).

Dr. Bloom does an excellent job! He has done crowns & general dentistry for me.
