I have had a lot of work done over the last year and Dr. Affara and his staff have been exceptional. The receptionist, assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Affara himself are all extremely courteous and proffesional. The problems and solutions are presented in a straight forward manner with no pressure at all. The office will go the extra mile to figure out what insurance will cover versus out of pocket costs, possible alternative treatment options, financing etc. I'm never thrilled with going to the dentist, but I could not ask for a more comfortable and friendly experience.

I am very dentist phobic and Dr. Affara is extremely patient and calming. I needed a crown and I was sure I would not be able to withstand such a procedure without anesthesia. Dr. Affara was quite reassuring and so I agreed to return for the next visit. Contrary to what I conjured up in my mind, the entire procedure the completely pain-free and of course I was awake the entire time! Dr. Affara helped me though the procedure. I have a new crown, my tooth does not hurt anymore and I even made my 6 month cleaning appointment! That's a big deal coming from a dental coward like myself. :-) I highly recommend Dr. Affara.
