This is a total scam. All they want to do is "up-sell" you. The staff is dishonest and will do anything to get you to have more treatment...and then won't tell you what it costs until you get a bill in the mail. Stay away from this place.
About Front Desk: TERRIBLE. She is very friendly but is incompetent. She gave me an "estimate" for my total visit that was less than the fluoride cost (which she would have known wouldn't be covered...). Then I got the bill in the mail...

About Hygienist: When she asked if I wanted fluoride, I said I didn't think it was necessary since I'm not on well water. She said I should. I followed directions. Not covered by insurance... thanks.

If you are contemplating on becoming a patient of Dr. Chincheck, no need to contemplate any longer. Before I became a recent patient, I researched information on her and was impressed. I decided to give her a try and am SO GLAD I did. Let me just say that she is the first dentist in my life that has EVER taken the time to sit and discuss my health concerns and then thoroughly examined my teeth. The time and attention she gives is remarkable. I live in the Columbia area and the long distance drive is worth it. When it comes to my health, I will drive to get the best care possible. I do not regret the decision I made. The staff is top notch as well. My dental hygienist, Christie, was excellent and thorough. I am not fond of going to the dentist, but Dr. Chincheck put me at ease. I have some detail work that has to be done and am pleased that Dr. Chincheck is my dentist. As long as she is in practice, I will be her patient.

Wonderful professional. I have been more consistent with my dental care because it is always a pleasant (well, as pleasant as is humanly possible) experience. I no longer dread going to the dentist. I would recommend Dr Chincheck for patients of all ages. The hygienist is the best also! From front desk to phone contacts there is always a positive impression.
