About Front Desk: Make sure you always speak to Jessica and only Jessica. Barbara is your worst nightmare. She does not understand dental insurance nor your benefits. She does not know how to explain what your insurance covers or what will come out of your pocket. When I asked for a summary of what will come out of my pocket, she replied if we did that for every customer we would be super busy. So you will never really see the breakdown for what you are paying out of pocket. Multiple times that I asked for the break down in the office they said they would work on it and call me... as you can guess that was not done. We were trying to move the process faster with my insurances to get started on invisalign (the only braces Dr. Graber does) but as Barbara laid it out for me they don't like dealing with secondary insurances and I should pay everything out of pocket then deal with the secondary insurance myself. She did not want to do any work honestly. I don't understand how she works in a dental office doing billing and does not try to help each patient the best she can. She does not have much knowledge on insurance, I had to explain to her what I was covered and how to read the Explanation of benefits. She gave me bogus answers to my coverage questions which I noticed when the lovely Jessica explained what was covered and the best way to deal with my insurances. Also, Barbara never entered my secondary insurance in their system only on my paper file which does not help me financially. After speaking with Jessica, it turns out my "Secondary insurance" as Barbara named it would actually be my Primary insurance because I am the Primary in my work insurance. The one she listed as my primary which covers less is the dental insurance I am listed as a dependent under my husband. It was such a bad experience dealing with Barbara who is always there these past few months I was a patient there. I transferred my files to Dr. Caserta at another office close by who is highly rated and their office is well informed on dealing with secondary insurances. With them you will not have to do crazy amounts of coverage research and WILL NOT have to print it out your results to fax to Barbara so she can make up things about your coverage. I should also share that when she got frustrated that I caught her making things up about my coverage she threatened me saying she could just charge my insurance for invisalign and it will not cover me that charging me for metal braces was a favor.... a favor that I did not ask for!! She then told me that if I don't like how they work then I can go to another orthodontics. All because I wanted her to do her job and show me what my out of pocket expenses are laid out not a total with no explanation... a solid one at that. She was stumbling over her words and awkwardly pausing since she didn't know what other lie she was going to come up with. I don't think it is worth it being a patient at this office if she is there working on your claims. It's a headache waiting to happen. Don't do it to yourself.
