dentist defended a horrible hygenist and refused to do standard cleaning and insisted ultrasound was best. spent 10-15 mins. total and injured gum with u/s and a pocket developed. steer clear!!

I come from a family of dentists and Dr. Rose Z. is the BEST. Feels like she works with a feather!

After having bad childhood experiences with dentist and a bad orthodontist I had not been to the dentist in some years. I had a tooth break and had to deal with that and and found Dr. Zimmerman through a friend. She was the only dentist that did not jump to do a crown right away on the tooth - she wants to preserve healthy teeth for as long as possible and did an amazing filling that lasted for years before I did have to have a crown on that tooth. She and the hygienist I love there - Annie - are top notch as is her staff. I was their very happy and loyal patient after that for about 15 years until I moved away from New York. Dr. Zimmerman is incredibly smart and talented and keeps the atmosphere low key and is very sensitive to making sure that things are comfortable for you. I trust her and miss being able to see her regularly. I wouldn't say her prices are low but they seem about equal to most other dentists I have heard about and she is located in a lovely area that is easy to get to. I have recommended her to many people over the years.
About Hygienist: I would recommend Annie at this office - just great - and a great relationship with the Doctor - they make a great team in terms of taking a long term look at the relationship they have with patients and remember the issues from the previous visits.

I was in town from California, on my way to Europe, and broke a tooth. Dr. Zimmerman was referred to me by the concierge at my hotel, and took me as a walk in patient within 30 minutes of my phone call to her office. She took excellent care of me, and my only wish is that she was on the west coast so that I could have her as my regular dentist.

Doctor Z is the best; she is extremely sensitive to her patients needs. The staff is very professional and accommodating. My daughter especially likes picking out a toy at the end of her visit.

Dr. Zimmerman is very pleasant and so is her hygienist. I have not had any major treatments, but what I did have was well done. It is somewhat costly but it is certainly worth it. The staff is always curteous and helpful, which reflects on the kind of office Dr. Zimmerman is running.
