Called to get an appointment , my son goes to Dr. Shannon and was told they are not taking new patients but she would check with the doctors assistant because of the abscess and call me back ASAP. They knew my tooth was abscessed and I was in pain 5 hours later I still have not heard form the office. Glad I went with another caring dentist. Their loss was definately my gain.

I had dental pain with dentists in 5 states until a friend recommended Dr. Shannon. I gladly drive 16 miles each way for the treatments that I know won't be painful or provide any stress or anxiety under his care. He provides a rational discussion of options, their costs and probability of success. He's done 2 bridges for me that I've been very happy with. There's no question about recommending him to anyone. His office isn't a palace but isn't priced that way either. I find it hard to believe any dentist could be more highly recommended.
About Hygienist: He's a gem and perfectly consistent with the comfort I feel with Dr. Shannon.

Never find a better dentist, takes time to talk and listen to your concerns. If you feel any discomfort, he will stop and wont proceed until you are comfortable and relieves the discomfort.

Dr. Shannon is a gret dentist. He has a very calming manner, he does not recommend unnecessary work, and takes care of any dental issues I've had in a timely fashion. He is very personable and positive, and is understanding of squeamish patients (like myself). Although I have moved 30 minutes away, I continue to use his office because of the quality of care I received there. The front-desk staff is also quite personable and easy to reschedule appoitnments with.
About Hygienist: The hygienists I have encountered in this office (about 5 over the past 15 years) have all been well-qualified, gentle and genial.
