Dr. Basner is an excellent dentist with a great chair-side manner. He knows how to put you at ease and even has the ability to work small miracles like the time he got me to sit through a filling without Novocain or pain. I'm still amazed. The only other dentist I had before him was my childhood dentist. But he retired. It took me years to find a dentist I could feel comfortable with. But then it happened. Even though Dr. B . was making great progress with my dental phobia, I still chickened out of a few appointments and that is why I was given the boot. I don't think he realized how much he was helping me or even that I needed help. So if you choose him know that you will be well taken care of but don't screw yourself out of a good dentist by letting your fears get the best of you. He even makes paying for your care easy and not overbearing. My smile never looked so good as when Dr. Basner was my dentist. Now I'm searching for a new Dentist. Dr. B. may take me back, but I'm to embarrassed to tell him how much of a chicken I really am. My former dentist had to give me nitrous oxide, Novocain and valium while wearing a walkman to distract me from the dental experience. With Dr. Basner, it doesn't take all that. / CMB
