Dr. Taylor was a good dentist. My problem was with the billing office staff. I went in with a chipped tooth which I was give a crown. That area is still very sensitive. Afterwards It was suggested that I needed a deep gum cleaning, They verified with my insurance that it would be covered. They told me the Insurance would pay 395.00 and I was responsible for the balance. I paid the balance, had the work done and thought we were done. One month later I get a bill for 395.00. When I called to verify I was told the Insurance denied the claim. I checked with the Insurance company and they said it was because I had the procedure done 18 months ago. They only cover it every 24 months. Apparently the office staff did not verify that information thus leaving me with a 395.00 bill that I had not intended on nor am in a position to pay. Neither party will accept that this was their error. I called Dr. Taylors office to express how upset I was. They advised they only verify the benefits, not the history. They agreed to make payment arrangements with me. I will pay them but I have no intention on going back for future visits. I was very dissappointed and am in the process of looking for another dentist. I would not recommend them.

I had a severe toothache and I was in excruciating pain. The affected tooth had to be extracted and Dr. Scott Taylor referred me to a specialist. Dr. Taylor recommended that I take ibuprofen for my pain. The ibuprofen was not working for me. I called Dr. Taylor and asked him to prescribe something stronger for me. He bluntly refused. He did not even want to talk with me directly. All communications were done via his admin assistants. I eventually had the tooth pulled, but it was pure torture in the interim. Needless to say, i don't visit Dr. Taylor's office anymore. For a person in the caring business, he demonstrated a pure lack of empathy for his patient. The thought of one of my kids being care of Dr. Taylor scares me to death. So be forewarned of this doctor's traits before venturing into his office.
