Dr. Taylor-Shaw is a good dentist, she is very, very thorough, and makes your teeth feel very clean. Her support staff are also top notch. They do have Saturday appointments in the Silver Spring office, which is very convenient. At the time I only had a discount plan for insurance, but they worked with me on it to get a good deal.

Dr. Taylor-Shaw is a very good dentist, but I am a bit concerned that she tries to prescribe work that may not need to be done immediately

Dr. Taylor Shaw is very thorough but she tends to suggest more treatment than is necessary in the name of "preventive" care, like sealants. Having inadequate insurance that doesn't pay a whole lot, I can't really do everything she thinks I should, like refill all my old cavities. She is nice and her staff is very nice and they do explain everything to you, including costs. They were helpful helping me figure out my insurance.

Everyone was so easy going, they made me feel very comfortable. I will NEVER change dentists. I'm very happy with my treatment.
