Dr Rogers does only required work. He is completely thorough, but, honest about doing only necessary work, and he does most work himself, (only polishing is done by his assistant). Previously, I had been instructed, by another dentist, to have unnecessary and expensive crowns done.

same review I put on yelp Really the best dentist I have ever gone too. Here is an example why. I have baby teeth and I am in my 40's. They final break and crack. Old dentist decided solution was a bridge. $1,200+ (1997) later I have 2 good teeth shaved down and a metal bridge that gets food caught under it. Dr. Rogers looks and same problem and say I'll just build a tooth? I was skeptical. While I am in office he fills in the cracked baby tooth to look like it did when it was fine. Did that a cleaning and a filling for $267. Has been solid for over a year. Last appt I had to have filling replaced that fell out - old work from other dentist. I make appt and receptionist says I have to make other appt if I want cleaning and check up. I get there and he is fixing filling and he says " let sdo a cleaning, your here" Does both in 30 minutes. $173. My last dentist would look for any and everything to do. He had all these fancy gadgets and I could kind of tell was trying to make sure he got $500+ a visit. Clark just does what is needed and the rates are well worth the service relative to other things I get done. I have no problem recommending this DDS and giving 5 stars.

Excellent Dentist. Dr. Rogers does not try to sell you on extra procedures. When you have a problem, he tells you all of your options and the costs and then lets you decide. He has done all of my cleaning, fillings, etc., plus I've had a crown and a fake tooth created by him. Best dentist I've ever had. I travel from Maryland just to see him, because I know I can trust his advice.

My son and I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Rogers as our dentist. Other than our regular check ups he has just completed 2 crowns for me and the experience was as usual excellent. I have referred many of my friends and co-works. It has been a pleasure.

About Hygienist: Rosemary is wonderful too. She has been with the doctor just as long as I have and she make it like coming in to see family.

I am no more fearful of dental visits than the next person. I believe anesthetics can minimize the discomfort of maintaining dental health. This dentist does not prefer to use anesthetics. On my last visit, this practitioner deliberately ignored my signs of pain while putting on a permanent crown. I was never given nor offered anesthesia. Although my hands were shaking and clenched, he proceeded to apply crown adhesive causing intense pain & then applied air to the area causing excruciating, intolerable pain. I began having difficulty breathing because I began to cry with the dental instruments in my mouth. Rogers would not stop. I brought my hand up to pull the instruments out , but Rogers shoved my hand away and said tersely, " Do what you have to, grab your other hand and squeeze, just do what you have to..." I have transferred my records. This dentist and his assistant seem to have very little empathy for the pain of others and the environment reflects this. Little conversation to assuage anxiety, very few smiles, just some radio music.

Dr. Rogers currently treats three generations of my family (parents, brother, grandparents), and was my dentist from birth until I left the area at age 23. I never had any cavities. I was an anxious child and was very sensitive to pain, and I remember Dr. Rogers being extremely patient and reassuring. For a few years, he even cleaned my teeth himself (instead of having the dental hygenist do it) in order to make me feel more comfortable. As I got older he continued to display a warm yet unintrusive chair-side manner.
