As I am in the dental profession as well I can only recommend Dr. Lambert Stumpel.
Top 1% of all Dentist in the US.
Staff is super.
Can only recommend Dr. Stumpel if cost is not a factor.

Dr. Stumpel is an amazing dentist. I had some awful dental experiences as a child. When I found out that Dr. Stumpel didn't use laughing gas, I almost immediately turned around and walked out. That was over 15 years ago. He takes his time explaining every process and procedure and is always makes sure I understand what is going on in my mouth. I still drive from northern Marin to his office. I refuse to go to anyone else!

Good facilities, staff and basic approach, but had to return two times to correct an original procedure. The dentist had too difficult a time admitting that he hadn't done the procedure correctly the first time.

Dr. Stumpel is a dream come true. His office is clean, well-lit with fantastic views.
Dr. Stumpel is wonderful, friendly, and his work is superb.
The dental technicians are smart, good at their jobs and very very nice.
He may be expensive, but the value he provides makes his work one of the best deals around.

Dr. Stumpel is efficient, kind, and incredibly gifted. I actually look forward to going to the dentist! His staff is personal and accomodating. He's the best!

This is the nicest and most modern dentist office I've ever been in. Located on the 25th floor, you can look out onto the entire city while waiting to be seen. Once inside, Dr. Stumpel will spend a lot of time with you on your first appointment, taking pictures of your teeth and bite, giving you a thorough examination, and discussing with you how best to improve your general dental hygiene.
I first went to him because my previous dentist wanted me to have 5 cavities filled - Dr. Stumpel looked at my teeth and recommended that I have 0 cavities filled at the time because they were shallow and might not get worse if we kept a close watch on them. Things have been looking good so far in the last year and a half.
However, the reason I can't give him 5 stars is because he is CRAZY, RIDICULOUS expensive! I got an estimate of $1800 for a crown - no filling, no root canal, just a crown. That's about twice as expensive as anywhere else, and he isn't on any dental insurance networks. Anyway, if you've got lots of money to spend on dental care, go for the best and go to Dr. Stumpel!
