I saw Dr. Slutski at Richmond Dental Care for a screening.
The Hygenist who did the x-rays did not have a very good handle on the procedure, the x-ray machine that they have is not panoramic, it is very time consuming and somewhat archaic and the shields that they insert into your mouth for the x-rays are sharp and painful and do not fit well in a small mouth.
The cost was a $5 office visit and otherwise covered by Deltacare. I was not informed that I was to bring the $5 so I had to come back later that day which they were nice about.
The woman in charge of insurace has been rude to me several times.
The Hygenist and Dr. Slutski were very nice and understanding and I trust them despite all other negative factors.
The front desk staff can be slightly irritating on the phone because they all speak Russian primarily and require slow spelling and repeated information and an attitude that comes with it,although they were very nice in person.
The office is a complete wreck with old newspapers and hunting magazines stewn about, and the area where the chair is located is also a complete mess, it looks like a yardsale-very disorganised and old stuff everywhere. The cleanliness was not what I would hope for in a medical environment.
