I changed my dental insurance and went to Dr. Miller because of proximity to my residence. Although he and his staff were very pleasant, the cleaning I received was very substandard, rushed, painful, and messy. I ended up leaving the office with splatters of polishing paste in my hair and the neckline of my shirt drenched from the water-pic tool being carelessly used to rinse the polish off teeth. Dr. Miller also suggested that I have a filling replaced with a custom-made piece of porcelain. My insurance denied covering any portion of the cost for the porcelain piece and the out-of-pocket quote I received was well over $2000. Needless to say, I will have a different dentist replace my old filling with a new filling and I'll keep the remaining $1950+ in the bank.
