My General Dentist referred me to a Specialist for my Root Canal- Molar so it would befaster and then I would have the crown put on, but turns out I am still having problems with the tooth. Dr. Koshiyama is a nice guy but the procedure itself caused me problems for almost 1 and a half years. After my first root canal treatment, my tooth was extremely sensitive and hurted for 2 days (hallow feeling), so I had to go back in to remove any other canals that weren't taken out. After the second treatment, my tooth was still feeling weird and would hurt at times by itself. I had to take penicillin in case of any bacterial infections but it didn't work and I kept going back in not understanding why my tooth still felt weird. All Dr. Koshiyama did was sand down my tooth but it made it more sensitive and then it started becoming sensitive to Warm/Hot liquid and food. I didn't understand why so I went back in to get gum surgery to get at the root of the tooth any missing canals that was probably still inside. I had the gum surgery done which made the war/hot sensitivity go away, BUT my tooth still feels hallow and sometimes hurts on it's own, even til now. Even with all the x-rays, we still coudn't figure out the problem.
