I had no procedures done. Went in there because I knew I needed an extraction to #31 but also felt it would be 'difficult' extraction and wanted to know IF he could do it and of course wanted an X ray to see if it were infection. They did an X ray and validated my fear/hunch that it was infection below 'leg' (to jaw bone) of tooth. He was forthright to tell me it would be difficult extraction and work for an oral surgeon. He also explained why he did not take Mass Health. The reason was because Mass Health 'demands' that for a doc to take it, he must take all patients on it and MH does not allow doc to put a quota on the # of MH patients. MH has all or nothing policy making it hard for docs to even take any or a # of patients if they can't take all. Anyway, he was pretty nice and seemed honest and forthright. The only 'problem' was that they did not have an oral surgeon on staff. Wished they did because I live next door.

About Front Desk: Front desk was very helpful to me and got me in the same day within 30 min of my phone call to them. I live next door. Women at front desk were mature (as in having many more years of 'life experience' than do young 'in their 20's' staff found in other offices). I'm in my 50's and do prefer office staff to be within 10 year age group. They promptly answer the phone which is very good. The woman who took my X ray was good to as she immediately noticed that the area below the 'leg' of the tooth did not show up in the first and she took another which showed a definite problem below 'leg' of tooth (infection there). Some of my X rays from OTHER practices don't even show the jaw bone area below 'leg' of tooth (peri-apical area?).

I know this doctor: 1 day
