Saw Dr.Lessner for 2 years. Was generally happy with the treatment I received. (routine cleanings etc).

I initially visited Dr. Lessner's office for a cleaning shortly after moving to Austin in 2005. It was about as pleasant as one can expect a dental visit to be. The front desk was very helpful on my first visit, and every visit after that. I don't use insurance, but I've never heard anyone having problems with insurance when I've been. When he filled a cavity for me he was pretty gentle, and he chair-side manners are good. I would recommend Dr. Lessner's to others.

Dr. Lessner is great. He doesn't recommend unnecessary treatment as many dentists will. He is very honest and does really great work. They always get you in on time--no waiting and get you worked on as quickly as possible. The staff is great at filing insurance, etc.

Dr. Lessner & staff are extremely courteous, friendly, and professional, and have been willing to work with me on the cost of certain procedures when I was uninsured. I was very nervous about having an impacted & infected wisdom tooth pulled, but it was a completely painless procedure. I paid out of pocket and the cost was reasonable ($250) but I don't know how this compares to other dentists. I recommend Dr. Lessner to all my friends!

Dr. Lessner's office is in a house very near UT campus. I find the house makes me more comfortable and less uptight than in a regular dentists office. Lessner has been my dentist for years and I have always had good service. I've referred many of my friends and acquaintances to him. Nancy the hygenist is especially great, very gentle. Prices are reasonable, charged me far less for a nightguard than what I've heard others tell me they've paid. He also does sealnts on adult teeth, after a number of years, these are still working very well for me. Staff is friendly.
