I had been a loyal patient of Dr. Fetterman for 5 years, even though having moved to the East Bay and then Hawaii for job relocation, I still came back because I prefer not to change. I was extremely disappointed at my last dental visit when both the receptionist and Dr. Fetterman himself rudely told me I'd need to rescedule because I was late. I drove from the South Bay, was caught in traffic and called twice to let the office know the situation. I paid $8 in parking, drove 1.5 hours to get there and only in the Bay Area a short time from Hawaii but they refused to make accomodations to fit me in....this was just a cleaning and check-up no less. This was the worse experience I have had at a doctor's office, especially one in which I thought I had a nice relationship and history with. Needless to say I will be changing dentists.

Dr. Fetterman is great!! When I first started going to him I was so nervous that I couldn't sit still in the chair, so he gave me nitrous gas, but after an appointment or 2 I was so relaxed that I didn't need the gas. He is so gentle, and he tells the best jokes and stories to keep you amused!!
All of the staff in his office are extremely helpful and understand the pain that sometimes comes with the experience.
Although this is not my favorite thing in the world, it isn't as bad as it has been.

Dr. Fetterman did my teeth cleaning and exam, including X-rays so far. He's pleasant and patient and has a good demeanor. His staff is nice as well. He doesn't actively sell you services, but he'd make jokes and hints about it, sort of playing mind games with you in selling you in an indirect way. But no direct sales pressure at least.

Dr Fetterman has been our family dentist for over 25 years. He is extremely competent, and always keeps up with the latest innovations in Dentistry. There have been times when instead of doing complicated, expensive procedures, he'll try an another approach which winds solving the problem. Dr. Fetterman minimizes the fear of going to Dentists by immediately establishing rapport with you. He makes you feel comfortable, like you are part of his family. Dr. Fetterman also has a huge collection of jokes which tends to take your mind off the procedures. I also like the fact that his staff is professional.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Fetterman and I look forward to him being my dentist for a long time to come! His staff was extremely nice and competent. Dr. Fetterman is very friendly and has a nice sense of humor. A+!

Dr. Fetterman has been the best dentist that our family has known as patients for over thirty years. Since graduating from University of Pacific dental school, he has continued to keep abreast of the latest information, treatments and techniques which he takes time to discuss with the patient. He takes time to inform the patient of the available options required to make an appropriate decision. As will be evident by a patient, he is geniunely concerned about your teeth first rather than his profit line. Plus, his bedside manner is very charming, consisting of a great repertoire of skills and jokes to ease paid with a manerism and voice like Dick Clark of past American Bandstand fame. We continue to recomment his to everyone without reservation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fetterman's for about 15 years. He is always easy to get in touch with and not so booked that it takes weeks to get an appointment.
