Not engaged unless he directly is involved in treatment, relies on other dentists on staff. Patient desires about treatment, cost, planning, preferences are completely ignored. I can't say enough about the office completely closing in the middle of the day for lunch which backs up appointment hours and handling. How is it not possible to send part of the staff for lunch at one time and another at a different time so that the office can be kept open in the middle of the day? The office also has a 4 day week, seriously? So many other offices are open six days a week and until 7PM. The "office" is always booked critically because of this four day week and patients feel the rush of the lack of more days/hours for appointment times and care in treatment. I was told my next appointment time available was almost four months in the future !!! Its ridiculous and the office staff appears to be "spoiled" because of the four day work week, etc.

About Front Desk: Once you're done its get the money, get you out the door asap. No real interest in your uniqueness as a patient (meaning patiently discussing your overall treatment plan). Way too busy, overbooked with patients's so what happens is you feel rushed from the time you walk in until you leave. Seems like the office has become an assembly line / money grab. There exists no "work with you" on paying huge costs, its pay the full amount immediately. This office "used" to be awesome, but over the last several years it has gone from great to not good. Long time patients like myself are treated no differently than someone walking through the door for the first time. Seeing another dentist now.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: Just awful, the hygienist talked non stop through cleaning and this was terribly annoying. Because of this they did a horrible job on the cleaning. Wasn't paying attention and just went through the motions of the cleaning process and because of this I felt my teeth were cleaned at 60% instead of 100%. Some of my teeth were still indicating build up after the cleaning !!! I can't emphasize enough how unfocused the hygienists are. Its as though cleanings are low priority for the office since they are not a revenue generator. There was way too much unfocused socializing during the cleaning and this has become the norm rather than the exception. What do I do? Tell the hygienist to shut up ?? That's the office managers job to ensure this is not going on.

Hygiene time: 40

I know this doctor: over 20 years
