This is the worst dental office ever.
In August, I came in for a customary cleaning. At this appointment, I was advised that I needed 2 crowns and an urgent deep cleaning in my lower register.
With crown #1, I received the temporary, and, as everyone familiar with crowns knows, a temporary should only stay in for 2 weeks. This ended up staying in for over 2 months because their lab kept screwing up over and over again in making the permanent. The reason that a temporary should only stay in for 2 weeks is because your nerve is exposed so they want to minimize the time with the temporary and quickly transition to the permanent which is customized to fit your mouth exactly. Due to the prolonged period with the temporary, I experienced excruciating pain. I was wrongfully told I might need a root canal, but thankfully they decided to try putting the permanent in first before making any rash decisions about a root canal surgery. The pain immediately went away after the permanent was installed, but the issue is that this should never have happened since a temporary should only stay in for 2 weeks, not 2 months - which is an egregious amount of time.
