Dr. Katz is our family dentist. During our seven years with him, we have had routine procedures (e.g., teeth cleaned and cavities filled) and complicated procedures. He has put in new caps, replaced aging caps, and put in implants. He sends you to specialists to get the root canals and/or to implant the posts prior to preparing the caps or the visible part of the implants.
His professional skills are excellent. In addition to being current on the medical research and practices in dentistry, he is an artist who produces fake teeth that look very, very real. He is careful and excellent at pain control.
His chair-side manner and those of his assistants are excellent.
We never wait long to get into his office. He files insurance for you but expects payment upfront. If payment upfront is not feasible, he helps you arrange for external financing. His fees are somewhat above the average for the Austin area, but they are worth it.
His offices are crisp, modern, and comfortable. (Really, like a health spa or 5-star hotel? That's what you think a dentist office should be? That's silly.)
We highly recommend him with no reservations.
