I have a dentist phobia because I've had horrible work done in the past and at the point where I called Dr. Desai (who was reccommended by 1800-dentist), I was in awful pain and in major need of a root canal.
His Office Manager Karen was awesome and reassured me that everything would be fine which it was. Dr. Desai is very gentle, doesn't use those awful rubber blocks or nasty things that look like scissors. I've never felt any pain when he's worked on my teeth, never been asked to swallow anything gross, and my fillings and crowns have all stood the test of time.
I've also referred several other friends who had similar dental tragedies to Dr. Desai and they are continued patients as am I. There are other dentists that would be much closer but I'm happy to make the drive because I know I'll be well taken care of when I go there. If I so much as crinkle my nose, he'll ask me if I need more medication because, he cares.
Billing has also been wonderful as Karen has helped me split payments in the past when finances were tight and has been very accommodating of any need I've had. They're always willing to work with their patients... if you're in pain, they don't make you wait... they squeeze you in... He's the best!
