I had several fillings and also had a crown replacement. The staff at this facility are all unprofessional and don't know what they're doing. I had my crown replaced with a temporary crown because they didn't have the materials to create a permanent crown, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Ten minutes after I left the office, my temporary crown fell out. Since I had my temporary crown put in, I have had numerous issues with it because Dr. Koob hires dental assistants who only have a few months of training by Allied Health careers and don't have the experience necessary to perform the procedures they are doing. She trusts them to do their job because she's too lazy to check on their work. As the dentist, she should be doing the majority of the work, not her dental assistants. These dental assistants are rude and have very passive aggressive behavior. They are constantly trashing the other employees in front of patients and even talk negatively about Dr. Koob. They also talk down to patients and a very condescending. I'm so glad I only got a temporary crown from this place because I do not trust them to perform anymore of my dental procedures. I am in the process of finding another dentist because of the low quality wor

About Front Desk: Hollie is very unprofessional. I overheard her talking bad about patients to the other staff and making fun of someone for having yellow teeth. She is the type to smile in your face and talk about you as soon as you leave the office. She also has horrible communication with the dentist and dental assistants causing a lot of stress for the patient. I was referred to a root canal specialist through their office. I got a root canal, which used the majority of my yearly balance and later found out that Hollie forgot to tell them that I was only being referred to them for an exam, not a root canal. So in short, I had to pay more and undergo a root canal because of her lack of communication and disorganization with the root canal specialist's office.

I'm finding out that the crowns Dr. Koob did for me 5 years ago are failing. I have now had a dentist and endodontist tell me she did bad work. The crowns did not fitted correctly allowing food under them and causing me to have to have root canals.

Dr. Koob and the hygienist are great, but the receptionist is impossible and has the worst attitude.

About Front Desk: The woman at the front desk has the worst attitude and can't explain insurance, costs, benefits to her customers. I was told it was too complicated to explain the cost of a filling (she pointed to her head like I wasn't smart enough - I do stats and math for a living). When I pressed her to try to explain to me she got frustrated and threw a pen and my file on the desk. I told her they were losing our family's business and wanted our records and said she'd get them ready and I could pick them up the next day. I called the next day and she said she couldn't release them without signatures, but would fax the form and once completed, could email the records, which she didn't fax the form. My husband called two weeks later for the records and she said she can't fax the form, we have to come there. Maybe faxing is "too complicated" as well. Go somewhere else, you don't want to deal with the front desk staff and you can't ever get Dr. Koob on the phone.

Dr. Koob and her team are great for cleanings and very basic fillings, but I've had problems with anything more complicated that I've had done. My crown she did has fallen out numerous times. One filling that I got, in a tooth that wasn't even bothering me before, has been in increasingly excruciating pain. The tooth wasn't bothering me before the filling, but about a week and a half later, it started hurting and has just been getting more sensitive and throbbing more. On a Friday, I left a message on their emergency # (they're closed on Fridays), and they took over 3 hours to call me back. They then told me I'd have to wait 5 days to be seen, and that I'd probably need a root canal, but prescribed me some pain meds to get me by. Seems like someone in excruciating pain would be a higher priority...especially since the filling obviously caused this pain in the first place. Now I am in misery and trying to find a dentist for a second opinion. They're always really nice at Dr. Koob's office..I've just had some frustration with some of my dental work, which I guess is why you go to the dentist. Kindness isn't making my tooth/mouth/head/self feel any better, unfortunately.

About Hygienist: I love the hygienist who cleans my teeth at Dr. Koob's office. She is a wonderful lady who is a little bit older, but gives great advice, is very gentle, and very nice.

Great manner, painless, chair-side manners are great. The atmosphere is stress free. It is a little more personal and intimate. There is not much waiting int he lobby on your scheduled appointment, unlike others that i have been to.

About Hygienist: Fair hygienist. Slightly on the rough side, but good overall.

I have had some very negative dental experience lately so I was hesitant to go to yet another one. Much to my surprise Dr. Koob's staff was friendly, patient, and most important they were aware of my concerns and pain threshold and did their best to be gentle. I was getting a crown so that is no small feat. They saw me quickly and the best part was that she let me split my payment in to two installments. I may just like going to the dentist now.

She hurt my gums twice. She did not even tell me. My gum was sensitive for more than 2 weeks. Second time when I talked with her about it, she told me it happens in procedure. She did not even apologize for it. I would have expected that she would have told me that she cut my gum and explained to me about it. She put crown. Crown size is not good. Because of the spacing between crown and the side teeth, food gets stuck. I have to floss it 2-3 times a day.
